What is blackwork?
Blackwork is a tattoo style built entirely from solid black ink: bold shapes, heavy fills and strong contrast, with no colour and little or no grey shading. It reads clearly from a distance and holds its shape as the skin ages, which makes it a good fit for larger pieces and for covering older work.
